Paid Media (SEM/PPC/Social advertising) Project Manager

Hoag’s Digital Team is on a mission to transform the digital ecosystem within healthcare, with a strong focus on becoming partners to our customers’ pursuit of their health goals and outcomes. As part of this journey, the team is looking for a Paid Media (SEM/PPC/Social advertising) Project Manager to oversee all core PPC accounts and campaigns. In this role, you will help manifest our digital and brand strategies in a very real way for customers across multiple paid channels, including guiding our digital marketing initiatives from creation to execution. You will be in the unique position of leading the vision and strategy for our highly ranked health institutions’ web journeys. You will need a combination of strategic thinking, execution, and superb partner management. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with designers, engineers, analysts, marketers, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our platform provides a remarkable end-to-end experience for anyone visiting the Hoag web experience. 

Essential Functions

  • Create, manage, and optimize PPC accounts/ campaigns
  • Develop and optimize bid strategies, ad copy, and keywords to improve KPIs
  • Analyze SEM/PPC data and report on results, insights, and recommendations
  • Manage media budgets across a variety of channels and clients
  • Execute strategies to improve campaign performance (ROI/ROAS)
  • Interact directly with clients regarding paid media efforts
  • Enhance paid media marketing efficiency and performance
  • Understand clients’ value propositions, industries, customers, and goals to realize growth opportunities

Hospital/Department Policies

  • Comply with annual health evaluation without a reminder.
  • Attend required department and hospital meetings.
  • Maintain CPR, certifications (BLS, ACLS, NALS, PALS, E.P., etc.) per hospital policy.
  • Maintain current license, certification, and registration
  • Complete annual “house-wide mandatories” per hospital/department requirements.
  • Complete competencies per department requirements within expected timeframes.
  • Perform job within hospital/patient safety standards
  • Perform job in safe manner to avoid injury to self and others, illnesses, and exposure to blood/body fluids, wear personal protective equipment, and uses appropriate safety products.
  • Maintain a personal dress standard in keeping with hospital/department policy and wear approved name badge.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and practices the hospital and department policies and operating procedures. This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation, Quality Control requirements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and practices the standards outlined in Hoag’s Code of conduct as well as additional regulatory or compliance policies applicable to their job responsibilities. Take timely action in response to any matter which raises a suspicion that a violation of law or Hoag Policy has occurred.

Job Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years agency or marketing experience
  • Bachelors’ Degree required 
  • Expert-level knowledge in Google Adwords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook/ Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, Display & Retargeting Networks, and other major platforms.
  • Digital Marketing Certifications (Google Adwords, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience in actively managing complex, high-budget paid search campaigns
  • A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
  • Basic knowledge about various areas of digital marketing (attribution models, split testing, CRM/marketing automation & integrations, landing pages, search engine optimization (SEO), conversion rate optimization (CRO), etc.)
  • Track record of improving paid media KPIs (relevance scores, ad placements, conversion rates, etc.)
  • Experience with relevant marketing tools (SEOMoz, Google keyword research tools, etc.)
