PROGRAM MANAGER ACCREDITATION (RN) - ONCOLOGY ADMINISTRATION

Salary Range: $63.7300 - $105.1500 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Program Manager Accreditation (RN) is responsible for the advanced planning and analytical consulting to the administrative and managerial staff to ensure the assigned Oncology specialty programs are accredited. Ensures assigned Oncology treatment areas can be certified and operate within guidelines as specified by certifying agencies. Applying clinical and business experience, this RN works with the Organization and outside agency to administer and maintain the accreditation for the assigned specialty area. Provides all necessary details/paperwork, process design, process improvements, and ensures procedures are in place to obtain accreditation.

 

The Program Manager is responsible for the ongoing establishment and continual effective operational improvement efforts to ensure the development and growth are both efficient, effective, and established on sound processes. Operational improvements may be small or large scale and are in alignment with Hoag's strategic goals, for example, addressing process flows and efficiencies to improve patient throughput and experience.  The Program Manager may apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to deliver results. Coaches and trains teams in the utilization deployment of improvements. Manages plans and develops guidelines, targets, and standards used for monitoring and measuring results for each Oncology area accreditation. Interacts daily with Leaders, to identify, define, and manage opportunities to improve strategic, financial, and operational performance for continuous improvement while helping create a strategic approach to produce and establish extraordinary improvement as a foundation for continued growth.

 

The responsibilities of this role include rallying Leaders in a spirit of continuous improvement and energizing continued rapid growth and expansion while tracking metrics and department formation. The Program Manager collaborates to lead and organize efforts for continuous operational improvement and strategic growth.

 

 

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Healthcare Administration, or equivalent Medical Foundation, Physician Practice or health-related experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years as an Oncology RN and a proven track record in regulatory and process improvement.
  • Advanced training or experience in performing statistical, financial and strategic analysis
  • Demonstrated performance improvement and process improvement skills and knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and PDCA
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

 

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Business/Healthcare Administration Consulting experience or experience managing healthcare-related projects and familiarity with the healthcare provider industry.

 

 

License Required

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

 

 

Certifications Required

  • OCN is required within 2 years of the hire date.

 

 

Certifications Preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
