OPERATIONS MANAGER - OMO

Our goal is to provide independent physicians and their staff the same high-quality, innovative, cost-saving solutions available to physicians and medical groups at large hospitals and health systems. Being an independent physician should not be difficult, and we provide the tools and support to ensure their continued success serving members of our community. 

 

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing a first-of-its-kind physician enablement program, aimed at assisting in purchasing and promoting health, well-being, and work-life balance for physicians. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including people, process, and technology while looking for opportunities to accelerate member growth.  Responsible for all operations, including promotion, membership, services, contract management, websites, personnel and financial management.  

 

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with physicians to serve patients more effectively, preserve the private practice of medicine and improve their overall well-being
  • Create awareness about new program benefits with current members and prospect, sell, and close new members
  • Design organizational policies and setting standard operating procedures on new program attributes
  • Develop and direct organizational strategy for a recently rebranded and relaunched program
  • In conjunction with the Director, sets targets for membership growth and revenue and is responsible for achievement of the same.
  • Lead and be accountable for the performance of the Sales and Operations team in supporting various business stakeholders and ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded
  • Support all members’ needs with the highest quality of customer service and deliver modern solutions to make being an independent physician easier
  • Establish efficient and balanced workflows that maximize efficiency and produce high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop standards, improvements or changes to process.
  • Develop contract strategies for services and supplies working in conjunction with supply chain and GPO experts.
  • Supervises and participates in the execution and administration of contracts.   

 

Education, Training and Experience

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as an operations manager
  • Experience in a healthcare sales organization or a rapid growth sales environment

 

Preferred:

  • MHA or MBA.
  • Experience with group purchasing organization or GPO sponsor knowledge.
  • Ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs; will have previous experience in business, supply chain & logistics, healthcare or related field

 

Skills or Other Qualifications

 

Required: Ability to multitask and work cross-functionally with different business units

Preferred: Sales or business development experience
