Salary Range: $37.5500 - $61.9600 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Program Manager supports the Vice President, Chief of Staff (VP/CoS) in executing key initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of Foundation programs. This role serves as a strategic project manager and operations coordinator, assisting in the implementation of organizational priorities, governance processes, and administrative functions that drive the Foundation’s success.

 

Reporting directly to the VP/CoS, the Program Manager plays a critical role in coordinating strategic initiatives, managing board and executive-level projects, and optimizing internal processes. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Support the VP/CoS in managing and executing key strategic initiatives across the Foundation.
  • Track progress on major projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate project outcomes to leadership.
  • Coordinate and optimize internal processes, supporting the administrative functions led by the VP/CoS.
  • Develop and refine policies, workflows, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and execution of initiatives.
  • Supports the President’s Office team in preparing board meeting materials, governance documents, and committee reports.
  • Manage follow-ups and action items from board and executive meetings as assigned.
  • Draft internal and external communications related to key initiatives and governance updates.
  • Support donor, board, and executive engagement efforts by preparing briefings and materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration.

 

 

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project coordination, or nonprofit administration.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, board governance, or strategic planning initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and presentations.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, work independently, and problem-solve effectively.
