EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - NEUROSCIENCE ADMINISTRATION

Salary Range: $84.2700 - $139.0700 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Executive Director of the Neuroscience Institute, directs and manages all aspects of the Neuroscience Institute including business development, marketing, operations, fund development and financial management of the various service lines/programs, including but not limited to Sleep Center, Neuro/ Multi-Specialty Clinic, Movement Disorders, Rehabilitation, Wound Care Center, Stroke, Alzheimer’s/ Orange County Vital Brain Aging, Neurophysiology, and Epilepsy

 

The Executive Director will work with the Neuro Leadership Team and Medical Directors to develop and execute the strategic plan to improve clinical and service quality and profitability.  He/she facilitates programs and services by providing leadership, planning, support and coordination.  He/She, in conjunction with the Neuro Leadership Team is responsible for determining the fiscal and business objectives and goals for the individual service lines which are in alignment with the organization’s overall goals and strategy. In conjunction with the Executive Medical Director, and Nursing Leadership, he/she is responsible for analyzing all costs, productivity, market trends and volume activity for the above services.

 

The Executive Director has administrative oversight of the overall fiscal performance of the identified service components, including budgetary functions, marketing and program development. In addition, the Executive Director will create, interpret, modify and execute and relevant fiscal policies and procedures.  He/she collaborates with other members of the Neuro Leadership Team to determine broader product line trends.  He/she provides business planning, strategic and development functions for the same. In conjunction with the Executive Medical Director, he/she identifies opportunities for new programs or services, physician recruitment and enhancement of the existing services. He/she is responsible for the planning and budgeting of all building projects, capital acquisition and operations.

 

The Executive Director works closely with the hospital departments and services to coordinate Neuro services/programs.  This position has ongoing, close working relationships with the hospital administration, all other centers of excellence, operating room administration, business development and process improvement, staff, corporate communications, facilities and design, department of radiology, medical directors and medical staff services, Foundation, referring physicians, and the community.

Travel – Position may require local travel between various Organization locations

 

 

Education and Experience

  • Formal education from an accredited university possessing at minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or health care Administration required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience is required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Ability to write detailed policies, procedures, and reports required to comply with DNV, CDPH, Federal, and State of California Standards

  • Position Supervises: Neurosciences Staff
