DIRECTOR SURGERY CENTER - HASCH ADMINISTRATION

Salary Range: $73.2900 - $120.9300 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Surgery Centers provides leadership, operational and fiscal management for an ambulatory surgery center.  Oversees the day to day operations, clinical and business needs of the surgery center. This role oversees the provision of services from vendor contracts. Manages fiscal needs and communicates with physicians and supervisors to allow them to make value driven decisions for care. Maintains positive staff and physician relations as well as supports and mentors department leads and staff to maintain high standards of care and business practices. Encourages a work environment aware of waste and cost and continuous improvement. Maintains high customer satisfaction. Monitors quality measures and ensures quality patient care is deliverd. Ensures professional and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times. Stays abreast of surgery center and healthcare industry and projects evolving and future needs of the surgery center.  May prepare and present to the Governing Board and acting Director of Nursing for the center, if RN licensed. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Experience with overseeing all phases of peri operative nursing – [Pre-op, OR, PACU]
  • At least 2 years’ experience supervising teams

 

Preferred:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or Associates degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in peri operative nursing, at least 2 of those years in ambulatory surgery center
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an ASC Director or Manager

 

License Preferred:

  • RN licensed in the State of CA

 

Certifications Required:

  • BLS certification

 

Certifications Preferred:

  • CNOR certification, CASC – or completed within 24 months of hire
