The Mammography Technologist performs routine screening mammography examinations to obtain high-quality radiographs.
Obtains images of excellent diagnostic quality to optimally demonstrate anatomy and/or pathology while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients.
The technologist educates the patient about the exam and takes measures to provide and care for the patient’s safety and properly utilizes procedure-related patient care/support devices appropriate for the age of the patient.
Alerts Supervisor and/or appropriate staff of potential problems or equipment malfunctions.
Maintains a relaxed environment to calm anxious patients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree or higher.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
A minimum of 6 months – 1 year is preferred, but will also consider new graduates that possess a State of California Mammography License (CRT M)
Knowledge of EMR Systems and EPIC is preferred

Hoag may share your immunization or tuberculosis (TB) screening test records with the California Immunization Registry (CAIR), a statewide, secure and confidential database of patient immunization information. The CAIR is used by health care professionals,
agencies, and schools to keep track of all shots and TB tests you take, and can provide proof about immunizations needed to start child care, school, or a new job. If you do not want your immunization or TB records to be shared with other registry

13. Your California Privacy Rights
