Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Hoag is looking for a Sr. Business Process Analyst to support hospital revenue cycle areas. The Sr. Business Process Analyst analyzes a spectrum of moderately complex, to complex, business problems to be solved with automated systems. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Analyzes business and user needs, prepares detailed specifications from which applications are implemented. Revises existing system logic as necessary. Evaluates and supports developing system processes and procedures. Writes and maintains specifications. Produces technical writing in support of Hoag’s IT Policies and Procedures. Prepares time and cost estimates for projects.
The Sr. Business Process Analyst leads small to medium sized projects, following the Hoag IT Project Management Methodology, that coordinate the overall analysis, user requirements, hardware/software requirements, and functional requirements to deliver a service based on customer specifications. Will track project metrics to include schedule, budget, scope, issues, and risks. Guides and advises less-experienced systems analyst personnel.
Education and Experience
BA in Business, Health Care or IT or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 5 years of Business Analysis
Technical writing experience within a project environment documenting small to medium sized experience with the workflows of one or more assigned business or clinical functional areas
Requires the ability to produce technical writing in support of Hoag’s IT Policies and Procedures
Exposure to ITIL, CMMI, PMI preferred
Masters or PhD degree preferred
License Required

or accounts that you create, to the extent permitted in their privacy policies.
2. What Information We Collect
Hoag may collect the personally identifiable information that you give to us in connection with your general interactions with Hoag. Personal information you provide may include:

Order history and preferences for services and product offerings;

The Sites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies or other Collection Technology (as defined below) to collect and store anonymous information about you, which may include

information, neither Hoag nor our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk.
Hoag is not responsible for the acts and omissions of any third parties.

You may have the opportunity to follow a link on the Sites to other websites operated by third parties that may be of interest to you. Hoag endeavors to link only to reputable websites related to your areas of interest. Because these other websites may

11. Changes To This Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time as new features and services are added, as laws change, and as industry best practices evolve. Any changes to our Privacy Policy will be shown by posting the new Privacy Policy at

Any changes in the Privacy Policy will take effect upon posting, but material changes will not apply to information collected from you before the Last Revised date, unless we provide notice or have other communication with you.
12. California Immunization Registry
Hoag may share your immunization or tuberculosis (TB) screening test records with the California Immunization Registry (CAIR), a statewide, secure and confidential database of patient immunization information. The CAIR is used by health care professionals,
agencies, and schools to keep track of all shots and TB tests you take, and can provide proof about immunizations needed to start child care, school, or a new job. If you do not want your immunization or TB records to be shared with other registry
users, please fax or email the “Decline or Start Sharing/Immunization Information Request Form,” available on the CAIR website at

13. Your California Privacy Rights

each year, and is not required to respond to requests made by means other than through the above email address.
