Salary Range: $84.27 - $139.07 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Director of Marketing Strategy is responsible for overseeing and implementing innovative marketing initiatives that align with our business goals, strengthen our brand presence, and drive customer acquisition and advocacy with a focus on a specific geographic market. Requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of marketing trends and best practices. Develops the strategy for new markets, category and product line, core competencies in digital marketing and growth activations. Brings life to a brand in new market segments. Has a proven track record in successful marketing strategies that delivered significant YOY growth by driving consumer acquisition and retention. This role requires a data driven decision maker; able to bring solutions to grow the business.

 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Translates marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and creative, to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated and impactful.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
  • Mentors the team providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, such as agencies, vendors, and media outlets, to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine the company's positioning, messaging, and branding strategies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the marketing/ strategic marketing 
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
