DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MARKETING

Salary Range: $73.29 - $120.93 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Principal of Digital Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing strategies to promote healthcare services, products, and information. This role involves an understanding of digital marketing functions, digital creative strategy and MarTECH. The Director will work closely with multiple departments and team members, to ensure that digital marketing efforts are aligned with the organization's goals and comply with industry standards and regulations.

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the organization's objectives, target audience needs, and industry trends. This includes setting clear KPIs, budgets, and timelines for digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, paid media, website management).
  • Enhance and maintain the organization's online presence and reputation. Ensure brand consistency across all digital marketing initiatives and platforms.
  • Oversee the creation, distribution, and management of engaging, accurate, and compliant content tailored to the healthcare industry's audience. This includes educational materials, promotional content, and interactive resources. This also includes driving campaigns that are focused on market share growth and advocacy within our community
  • Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimize digital marketing efforts. Regularly report on achievements and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the digital marketing team. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure a unified approach to digital marketing. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations for healthcare advertising). Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to the healthcare industry

 

Education and Experience

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a marketing organization. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, paid media and content marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
