DIRECTOR COMMUNITY ACTIVATION & PARTNERSHIPS - MARKETING

Salary Range: $63.73 - $105.15 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Director Community Activation & Partnerships is responsible for building community awareness and affiliations with Hoag by developing key relationships in Orange County communities. Responsible for activating and increasing strategic community relationships through events, outreach, and marketing tactics to maximize growth. This role is the primary ambassador to the community, activating/raising Hoag’s brand presence to further growth initiatives in existing markets, and emerging markets. Collaborates with marketing business leads to align outreach plans with strategic marketing and business plans. Coordinates and implements strategic events. Supervises, supports, and ensures strategic partnerships align with the Hoag brand and brand voice to deliver a cohesive brand experience.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Hoag as an ambassador in strategic community partnerships, sponsored events, and public initiatives. This role requires public speaking, event participation, and supervision of event support personnel.
  • Plan, conduct and evaluate community-based awareness events and activities.
  • Coordinate and deploy resources enabling Hoag to have a broad and nimble community presence.
  • Evaluate, recommend, develop, activate, and support strategic partnerships & sponsorships.
  • Generate Community Engagement Dashboard Reports to monitor awareness, affiliation, growth, and community engagement.
  • Prepare detailed campaign/events plans and creative briefs and ensure alignment across all channels as we activate events and key sponsorships.
  • Lead the build of winning content & event strategies for Hoag Health across communities in OC.
  • Evaluate, align, and manage vendor relationships by clearly defining the roles, expectations, and outcomes of strategic partners.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Leadership, Marketing Technology team, and Marketing operations to optimize resources. 
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate outreach budget and resources. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelors’ degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years marketing or sales experience.

Preferred:

  • MBA or Master’s in marketing and product and/or retail marketing experience preferred.
  • Degree in Sales, Business Development, Community Relations, or Marketing.

License Required

  • Current CA driver’s commercial vehicle license required.
