Job Summary
The Cyber Security Cloud Engineer is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company-wide information and security technologies. Provides input for architecting, implementing, and administering security technologies. Ensures applications and infrastructure services are designed and implemented to the highest security standards for both the on-premises and cloud environments.
The Cyber Security Cloud Engineer will act as a subject matter expert for technical solutions which include but are not limited to next generation firewalls, VPN, cloud technologies, and web application firewalls (WAF).
The Cyber Security Cloud Engineer is an integral part of Hoag’s Cyber Security. This position requires participation in a 24/7 operational environment. The position may require working outside of normal business hours and/or alternate shifts including occasional evening and/or weekends. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical field; Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Three to five (3-5) years as a Cyber Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineer, Network Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Network Security Engineer or equivalent technical role required
Three (3+) or more years working with AWS, AWS concepts, and fluency with AWS API’s and command line tools required
Three (3+) or more years cybersecurity experience including risk assessments, secure web architecture, and cloud security posture management required
Five (5+) or more years of advanced working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems required
Demonstrated experience with the capabilities and APIs of multiple major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google). required
Implementing and operating security related tooling such as SIEM, OSquery, certificate management, and SOAR required
Experience implementing and maintaining cloud-based systems and applications in Amazon Web Services required
Experience with DevSecOps and Agile development including tooling, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, container security preferred
Experience in a hospital or health care related organization of similar size and complexity preferred
Hands-on experience with network security technologies. Examples include but are not limited to Next-Gen firewalls, WAF, NAC, SSE, and SASE preferred
Experience writing standard operating procedures, systems requirements, and general documentation
Strong working knowledge of software defined lifecycle, automation tools, and orchestration preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to gauge the audience and speak at appropriate levels. The ability to put complex concepts in a clear and concise form required
Excellent time management skills required, ability to set priorities and meet obligations in a timely manner

Hoag may collect the personally identifiable information that you give to us in connection with your general interactions with Hoag. Personal information you provide may include:

Hoag does not share, sell or rent any personal information that you provide to us under this Privacy Policy to third parties, except with your consent or as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell or rent personal information to third

No transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of Hoag to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect personal
information, neither Hoag nor our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk.

12. California Immunization Registry
Hoag may share your immunization or tuberculosis (TB) screening test records with the California Immunization Registry (CAIR), a statewide, secure and confidential database of patient immunization information. The CAIR is used by health care professionals,
agencies, and schools to keep track of all shots and TB tests you take, and can provide proof about immunizations needed to start child care, school, or a new job. If you do not want your immunization or TB records to be shared with other registry

13. Your California Privacy Rights
