ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (CASH/GL) - ACCOUNTING

Salary Range: $45.41 - $69.85 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

 

The Accounting Supervisor oversees and coordinates the accuracy of the cash accounting operations. Manages and ensures all bank statements (all entities) are reconciled month to the general ledger. Completes and reviews general ledger reconciliation and analyzes designated accounts for reasonableness and accuracy. Assists and verifies cash deposits and disbursements to the bank statements and general ledger and informs the appropriate party for discrepancies on a periodic basis. Performs and supervises cash accounting and other general accounting functions for the various Hoag entities. Knowledgeable of GAAP principles. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Ability to supervise personnel as well as be a leader within the department.

 

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Supervisory experience, cash accounting/cash management experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and strong Excel skills

 

Certifications Preferred

  • Certified Public Accountant
